At the Public Corporation for the Supervision and Insurance of Cooperatives of Puerto Rico (COSSEC) we ensure the integrity and financial strength of the Cooperative Movement on the island. We do this through fair, equitable and effective supervision and oversight of all cooperatives. We promote its solvency, solidity and global competitiveness aimed at the socioeconomic development of our country, through the application of an agile, modern and flexible public financial policy that ensures balance and equity between the interests of partners, depositors and the development of cooperatives.
