Job vacancy Principal, QA

The Principal, Quality Assurance (Flow Mentor) provides technical leadership and expertise for production operations and Quality Assurance/Compliance.

QA Subject Matter Expert with a proven background in coaching and mentoring QA teams, as well as other groups within the operations impacting quality best practices.

Develops and sustains Process Knowledge, provides Process & Equipment Support, and leads Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Develops and Sustains Quality Systems and Adherence to QA Business Systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or science-related field.
• Eight (8) plus years of pharmaceutical industry experience (preferably in biotechnology or related biologics environment).
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical support area (e.g. Process Engineering, Technical Services) and/or at least 3 years in a Quality Assurance role supporting Bioprocess Production (Fermentation/Purification)
• Fully bilingual with written and verbal communication skills (English/Spanish)
• Must possess excellent technical writing skills (English & Spanish)
• Able to build and establish positive interpersonal relationships with teams in different departments.
• Key resource in other functional areas as dictated by business needs or strategies.
• Able to travel outside of Puerto Rico for special strategic projects, and corporate QA initiatives.
