Job vacancy Credit Analyst / Accountant

Our client, a well-established financial institution is hiring a Credit Analyst / Accountant. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Credit Risk Officer.

Responsibilities :

• Perform credit analysis for new loans and renewals of established credit facilities.
• Manage the Bank’s loan system including and not limited to opening new credit facilities, processing advances and payments, and generation of loan reports and loan statements.
• Record and post vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions and corresponding journal entries.
• Record and post loan transactions.
• Review bank account statements and perform reconciliations.
• Reconcile accounts and perform adjustments as needed.
• Administer loan management system (enter new loans, payments, principal advances, etc.) and prepare monthly reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 5 years’ experience in commercial loans and real estate underwriting.
• Loan review experience a plus.
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficient in database and accounting application systems.

Compensation: $60 - $85K Base Salary commensurate to candidate experience and excellent fringe benefits.
