Job Presentation

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a safe workforce for all personnel.
  • Inspecting all departments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Performing all personnel’ performance evaluations and completing the necessary documentation.
  • Supervising all production activities to achieve quality, production, cost, and delivery objectives to customers.
  • Participating in the recruitment, training and staff development process.
  • Reviewing daily and weekly production plans to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Verifying all current orders.
  • Consulting dispatch lists to determining project priorities and scheduling dispatches.
  • Inspecting and monitoring all production equipment and the quality of the finished product.
  • Ensuring quality by the use of troubleshooting tools.
  • Coordinating training programs for all personnel to compliance with job standards.
  • Monitoring production performance.
  • Investigating daily distractions and/or interruptions to prevent any future occasions.
  • Planning any necessary training to reduce ergonomic hazards.
  • Monitoring the use of materials.
  • Ensuring an adequate inventory levels and parts are available to keep production flowing.
  • Identifying excessive practices and methods.
  • Reporting any problems and/or concerns relating towards inventory and materials used in production.
  • Promoting and supporting group participation.
  • Communicating and updating management towards issues or concerns during work shifts, identifying areas that require more attention to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Maintaining the production area clean and organized.
  • Supporting all Lean Initiatives (5s, RIE’s, SQDIP, MDI, 9 Step).
  • Complying with company policies and procedures, including EHS and ISO requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sciences, or Engineering required.
  • 3 years of experience in a Leadership Role in Manufacturing Industry.
  • Knowledge in ISO and Lean manufacturing practices.
  • Knowledge of local and federal labor laws and regulations, including OSHA.
  • Experience with computers (MS Office).
  • Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Commensurate with candidate experience.
