Job offer: IT Security Director

Our client, a leader in the service industry is hiring an IT Security Director for their headquarters in San Juan.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the growth and efficiency of the security integration department.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure successful project execution.
• Set departmental goals, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvement strategies to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align department objectives with overall company strategy.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in security technology, including IP-based systems, networking, access control, and video analytics.
• Manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost control and project profitability.
• Prepare detailed reports for executive leadership on department performance, project status, client satisfaction, and financial health.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, or manufacturer-specific security certifications) are a plus
• 7-10 years of experience in the security integration industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or director-level position.
• Proven experience managing large-scale security integration projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of security systems such as access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated solutions.
