Job offer: Chief Accounting Officer

Our Client is looking for a Chief Accounting Officer (CAO). Overall responsibilities for the day-to-day activities for the finance and administration department. Management of accounting and administration, regulatory and financial reporting.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Analysis of financial reports to assist CFO and top management to make financial decisions to support the Organization.
• Determine areas of possible cost reductions
• Manage the preparation, consolidation and reporting of financial statements for all business lines.
• Ensure the financial practices comply with all federal and local regulations (GAAP, SEC, SOX, etc).
• Provide financial input to support the financial decision -making process
• Monitors required regulatory filings, dividend disbursements
• Ensures and execution of all key controls.

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
• CPA
• Knowledge of financial and tax regulations related to tax reporting and insurance required.
• Strong GAAP technical expertise
