Job offer: Budget Senior Analyst

Our client, a prestigious consulting firm, is hiring a Budget Senior Analyst who will support the implementation of comprehensive budgeting reforms, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance policies, procedures, and frameworks. This role involves analytical support, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies, with a focus on federal fund management and capital planning.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports and presentations on budget reform, ensuring accuracy and alignment with established goals.
• Monitor the implementation of budget reform initiatives, ensuring timely task completion.
• Act as a liaison between advisors, fiscal agencies, and leadership to ensure effective communication and updates on fiscal activities.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting, providing insights to inform decision-making and policy development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies and set priorities aligned with goals.
• Organize and attend meetings with advisors, agencies, and stakeholders to track project progress and ensure clear communication.
• Support the development of policies and frameworks for financial management, reserve management, and debt issuance, ensuring compliance and sustainability.
• This position includes supervisory responsibilities, overseeing team performance and ensuring effective collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant license preferred.
• 3+years of experience in finance, budgeting, capital planning, cash management or related areas.
• Previous experience working in public sectors preferred.
