Our client is hiring a Finance Manager to oversee the grants management and FEMA reimbursements process, as well as supervise a finance team. This role will be integral in guiding financial planning and decision-making processes related to grants and reimbursements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role will involve working closely with finance and engineering/ capital projects departments to ensure precise financial transactions and registry  to facilitate strategic decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial management and accounting for grants and FEMA reimbursements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Supervise and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to grants and FEMA funding, providing insights and recommendations for efficiency and compliance.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize grant management processes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for grant-related activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports for grants and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on grants and FEMA reimbursements.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Fully bilingual.
